Original song: "He went to Paris" by Jimmy Buffett
All lyrics are, of course, hypothetical. I just changed a few words to make it more fitting for Twilight Sparkle, but past the first verse, none of the lyrics are canon.

She went to Ponyville
Looking for answers
To questions that bothered her so

She was impressive
Young and aggressive
Saving the world on her own

But by princess's orders
She found friends who adore her
And put all her worries at bay

Summers and winters
Scattered like splinters
And four or five years slipped away

So she stayed in Ponyville
Studied her magic
And married the colt of her dreams

They had a fine life
He loved her dearly
He gave her his whole world, it seemed

And all of the answers
And all of the questions
Locked in her treehouse one day

'Cause she liked the quiet
Clean country living
And twenty more years slipped away

Well her friends moved away
Her magic decayed
And through sickness, her husband had died

Her body was battered
Her whole world was shattered
And all she could do was just cry

While the tears were falling
She was recalling
Answers she never found

So she hopped on a train
Skidded the landscape
And left Ponyville without a sound

Now she lives in the country
Thinks of her family
And writes to the Princess each day

Writing her memoirs
Losing her hearing
But she don't care what most ponies say

Through eighty-six years
Of prepetual motion
If she likes you, she'll smile and she'll say

Some of it's magic
Some of it's tragic
But I had a good life all the way

She went to Ponyville
Looking for answers
To questions that bothered her so

Picardy Third is my name. No, not like Captain Picard, though I do love Patrick Stewart. Picardy Third is a musical term loosely defined as when a song in a minor key resolves on a major third. I guess you could say it sounds like ending things on a... positive note? (bah-dum tiss). Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you enjoy whatever you listen to! ... more
